Each class includes information about how certain foods and nutrients work to promote health, along with cooking demonstrations of simple and nutritious recipes that can be recreated easily and inexpensively at home. Exercise Program

Working with a patient for a day or sometimes two, Amputee Clinic therapists are able to our patients up and walking. They start on the parallel bars, then transition to a walker, then walk without a walker – and learn how to use the assistance of a cane or even crutches until they’ve gained the strength to walk independently. During this journey to mobility, however, exercise, stretching and strengthening all play a vital part in a patient’s journey to rehabilitation.
